We received a sketch and design concept from our client and designed an integrated 3D model and engineering solution to create the finished product. The project involved creating a basin and cabinet with all components made from artificial stone, including the drawers.
03 Challenges
1. Structural Integrity and Precision:
- Challenge: The entire structure, including drawers, had to be made from artificial stone, which required high precision in positioning and assembly.
- Solution: Employed advanced techniques to ensure seamless integration of all components and used precision tools for accurate hole positioning and minimal product gaps.
2. Drawer Functionality:
- Challenge: The drawer slides had to support the weight of the stone drawers, allow smooth operation, and enable automatic closing without noise.
- Solution: Custom-made drawer slides were developed, reinforced with additional structures at the bottom, top, and inside to ensure smooth operation and automatic closure. Anti-collision pads were added inside the drawer panels to prevent noise.
3. Overflow Capacity of the Basin:
-  Challenge: The basin’s overflow curvature needed to be nearly 90° with an overflow capacity of over 7 liters.
- Solution: Custom tools were created to deepen and widen the overflow hole, ensuring the required overflow capacity was met through extensive experimentation.
4. Stringent Quality Standards:
- Challenge: Meeting the client’s stringent quality requirements.
- Solution: Established a quality inspection standard document and held meetings with each production team to ensure everyone understood the client’s requirements. The first sample was approved, and the final products were inspected according to the agreed standards.
